You can celebrate Ice Cream for Breakfast Day with morning treats at this Metro Vancouver sweet spot

Celebrated inadvertently by hungover people and lucky children on the regular, the actual “Ice Cream for Breakfast Day” actually falls on the first Saturday in February. To mark this delectable date, Burnaby’s Glenburn Soda Fountain is throwing a big AM party with breakfast-themed ice cream treats aplenty.

From 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 2, this charming old fashioned ice cream parlour in Burnaby Heights will have goodies like Donut Ice Cream Sandwiches, Breakfast Sundaes, and Waffle Saturdaes. Try ice cream flavours like Cereal Milk and donuts from Royal City like Maple Bacon Bourbon.

Plus, if you show up in your PJs for your Saturday morning scoops, you’ll be entered to win ice cream for a year from Glenburn.

The ice cream shop notes that quantities are limited and items are available until they run out. They’ll be serving everything to-go in take out dishes…perfect for you to jump right back into bed with. After all, staying in your jammies is part of the fun of Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, right?
