If you are thinking of going on a sunny holiday to Walt Disney World this year, make sure that you book your ticket in advance.

Right now, tickets to the 'happiest place on earth' cost roughly $1000. However, if you book your ticket a couple of months if advance you can expect to pay a third of that cost.

For example, WestJet is offering a return trip from Vancouver to Orlando for only $329.89 CAD including all taxes and fees. The flight departs on Sunday, September 1 and returns on Monday, September 16. There is one stopover in each direction, but each one is only a couple of hours.

While the theme park is the main attraction, Orlando is also home to a litany of other fun attractions, entertainment, dining, shopping, and more. Further, the weather is quite toasty throughout the year, which makes it the ideal escape from raincouver.

Tip: If you’re looking to visit the park, ensure that you reserve a hotel on the park grounds. Otherwise, you’ll have an extremely difficult time seeing everything – it is enormous. Also, make sure that you book it ahead of time as the happiest place on earth is extremely busy the whole year round.

If you’re looking for a vacation a little closer to home, the Terrace Beach Resort on Vancouver Island offers sweeping ocean views from adorable, beachfront cabins.
