Vancouver locals will have the opportunity to sail out of Canada Place and cruise to Hawaii this September for an extremely low cost.
Guests will sail with Norwegian Cruise Line, which is a family-friendly line that specializes in ‘freestyle’ cruising – there are no stuffy dress codes, no fixed schedules and guests may customize their holiday to their liking. On the beautiful Norwegian Jewel, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy 13 bars and lounges, a basketball court, a jogging track, a tennis court, waterslides, a disco, six hot tubs, an arcade, a spa, and a number of restaurants.
The total cost for an interior stateroom for two people comes to $3,654.60 CAD including all taxes and fees, which breaks down to $1,827.30 CAD per person for the 11-night voyage.
Not only does that cost include your transportation on a beautiful four-and-a-half star vessel, but it also includes meals, entertainment, snacks, and lodging. The only thing it doesn’t factor in is alcohol, but you may opt to purchase a drink package that can reduce the cost of your spending.
The cruise departs Vancouver on Monday, Sept. 14 at 4 p.m. and then spends five days at sea. Following this, the cruise stops in Kona on Sept. 20. and then for two days in Nawiliwili, kauai. After this, the ship stops in Kahului, Maui on Sept. 23 and then in Hilo, Hawaii on Sept. 24. The cruise disembarks on Sept. 25 in Honolulu, Oaho.
Hawaii offers a range of natural gems to explore on each of the islands as well as a plethora of places to dine, shop, and catch live shows. From the Mauna Kea Summit to the massive, approachable populations of manta rays, the rich history of Lahaina to the stunning Waikiki Beach, the islands ooze tropical beauty.
A flight back from Honolulu is much cheaper when booked in advance. Currently, there are one-way fares available that cost as little as $250 CAD including taxes and frees.
