Known for their consistent spot-on delivery of excellent West Coast cuisine, it's no wonder AnnaLena is counted among Vancouver's best restaurants. But they're also known for being playful - you'll see lots of Lego and action figurines in the restaurant, for one - and their current dinner series is no exception.

This September, AnnaLena will present their third dinner special event, this time collaborating with a local athletic wear brand Reigning Champ for a sports-themed night aptly called "Arena."

Taking place Tuesday Sept. 3 and Weds. Sept. 4, AnnaLena's "Arena" dinner will find diners transported through sight, sound, and tastes. Once you step inside you'll be hand-delivered a starter cocktail by AnnaLena alum award-winning bartender Kevin Brownlee. The dinner will feature some creative eats, expertly prepared and presented with flair - all on the theme of sports.

This dinner will explore the signature culinary cultures of the world’s greatest games and the dishes that best embody their heritage. Each course is designed to connect you to a specific sport and transport you to stadiums worldwide.

Chef and owner Michael Robbins and his team at AnnaLena want the night to be packed with surprises, so they're keeping details under wraps until the night-of. Still, you can expect to be thrilled with all the clever ways AnnaLena will delight your senses.

Seating is limited, and diners are cautioned that the meal will contain meat, dairy, seafood, and gluten.
