First snow of the season falls on Grouse Mountain (VIDEO)

The North Shore's Grouse Mountain Resort shared a video Tuesday of the first snowflakes of the season.

Snow has been falling already this fall in some parts of B.C., but now we've got evidence of the chilly white stuff flying around in Metro Vancouver.

The North Shore's Grouse Mountain Resort shared a video Tuesday of the first snowflakes of the season.

Of course, these flurries aren't the stuff ski dreams are made of - typically the season kicks off there in early- to mid-November.

Back in mid-September, Whistler Blackcomb got its first snowfall, so it is safe to say that if you're a skier or snowboarder, you may want to get your season's passes sorted and gear ready.

In the meantime,  there's still plenty to see and do at the "Peak of Vancouver," daily; you can check Grouse Mountain's online guide to activities for some ideas, and just maybe you'll catch a few snowflakes on your toque, too.
