VanMusic and CiTR present The Gaia's Ghost Extravaganza show: An evening of art, poetry and music to raise money for Cythera House women's shelter in Maple Ridge, May 24. Author Stella Renee and surrealist artist Jenni Holland have teamed up to organize the event that will feature the launch of Renee's book of poetry, Gaia's Ghost, live piano music, an exhibition of Holland's art, a mix of rock, funk, blues and jazz music performed by indie bands MG Graveyard and Two Apple Tobacco, cheap beer and a kitchen that's open late at LanaLou's, 362 Powell St. Doors open at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.
