BIKE CAMPS

According to the charitable cycling group PEDAL, concerns regarding bike safety have translated into a sharp drop in the number of children who use a bicycle for transportation to school and other destinations in their neighbourhoods.

According to the charitable cycling group PEDAL, concerns regarding bike safety have translated into a sharp drop in the number of children who use a bicycle for transportation to school and other destinations in their neighbourhoods. To that end, PED-AL has partnered with Britannia Services Centre and Kickstand, a grassroots bike project, to offer Our Community Bike Camps. The 2013 program will include seven week-long summer bike camps for children aged six to 18 years led by certified instructors. Visit pedalpower.org/bikeclub for more information.
