Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services is accepting donations for the less fortunate in the region this Christmas. Non-perishable food items for the Vancouver food bank and new unwrapped toys for children (no stuffed animals please) can be dropped off at any of Vancouver's 20 fire halls from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau will distribute the items throughout the region before Christmas.
