Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services hosts several firehall open houses throughout the summer. This is an opportunity to meet your local firefighters, learn what they do, and discuss any fire and life safety concerns you may have. Drop by for refreshments and demonstrations. Check vancouver.ca/fire/ events/ for specific times, dates and firehall locations. The open houses run between 1 and 3 p.m., July 17, 24, Aug. 7, 14 and 21.
