Residents of the West End can learn about personal food security, apartment gardening and edible landscaping in three mini workshops, Oct. 8 and 9. Robin Wheeler, who teaches traditional skills, sustenance gardening and about medicinal plants at Edible Landscapes, a nursery and teaching garden in Roberts Creek, will lead the classes. The workshops, organized by the Green Millennium Foundation, Village Vancouver and the West End Food Network, happen at Mole Hill Community Housing Society, 1169 Pendrell St. Admission is a recommended donation of $5.
