Children in the Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood are treated to candy a few days before Halloween as the local Business Improvement Association hosts a fun afternoon of trick-or-treating on the Saturday before Halloween. Stores in the 2100 to 2700 block of Hastings were busy handing out chocolate bars and other treats to a steady line of children from noon to 3 p.m. this past Saturday.
