THE LIGETI PROJECT: The music of the great Hungarian composer Gyorgy Ligeti provides the starting point for this exciting new collaboration between contemporary choreographer Martha Carter and the innovative Microcosmos String Quartet. PHANTOM OF THE OPERA: Vancouver Bach Choir presents a multimedia world premiere with The Phantom of the Opera at the Orpheum. THE CALL: SONGS OF ARAB PRIDE AND LIBERATION: Simon Shaheen one of the most significant contemporary Arab musicians is coming to The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts.
