Indian cinema icon and humanitarian actress Shabana Azmi will speak about her life and work, focusing on the attitudes towards women on screen and in society June 11, as part of the SFU Vancouver Speaker Series. The discussion is presented by SFU Public Square and the Indian Summer Festival. Azmi, who is receiving a honorary degree from SFU on June 12, is a five-time winner of the National Award For Best Actress.
