I realized that he needed me to love myself in order for his world to be complete. So the answer is always, ‘Who does Auntie Lisa love?’ ‘Mommy, Daddy, Isaac, Owen, Nana, Papa and myself.’ It taught me one of the best lessons of my life, that kids need us to be able to love ourselves. I honestly was never expecting to learn one of my most important life lessons from a two-and-a-half-year-old.
