Paths to Plazas laneway night markets continue in Mount Pleasant July 23 and 30. Sixty Blim market vendors will sell their wares in the lane just beyond the historic Lee Building at Main and Broadway, July 23. They'll sling food, fashion, accessories, supplies, fine art, vintage items and records. June 30, Mount Pleasant's BIA will co-host the Smoking Sausage BBQ Cook-off. The Cascade Room, Burgoo Bistro, The Rumpus Room, Eight ½ Restaurant Lounge, Hyde Restaurant and La Rotisserie by MyChef, in partnership with Drew Dreissen of D-Original Sausage Company, are developing signature sausages for the event. With a $3 donation to the Vancouver Food Bank, foodies can chow down and vote for their favorite BBQ creation and imbibe free coffee courtesy of Cuppa Joe Coffee and Starbucks Coffee. Paths to Plazas offers live music, art installations by the Vancouver Design Nerds, hot chai and Indian snacks from Chutney Villa, treats from Kam's Bakery and ice cream from Reno's Restaurant.
