I lost my husband just over two years ago so I woke up alone on Christmas morning, which wasn’t good. But I went to Victoria on Boxing Day and saw my son and my granddaughter, so that was good. My husband and I were an anomaly. We got married when I was 17 and on our 41st wedding anniversary he went in the hospital and he never came home. And he used to spoil me rotten on Christmas. It’s very strange not being spoiled, not that I need to be spoiled, but I’m used to being well treated.
