Ned Bell crowned Chowder Champion at sustainable seafood celebration

Stephanie Florian is On The Scene at the Vancouver Aquarium’s annual Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown, speaking with guests and local celebrities such as Bobs and LoLo about why this cause hits so close to home.

This year, YEW Seafood and bar executive chef Ned Bell was crowned the Chowder Champion. Fable Restaurant chef Trevor Bird took second place and the Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Giovane Café and Eatery chef Atticus Garant earned third place. Best chowder/beer pairing went to Forage Restaurant and R&B Brewing.
