The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival kicked off its two-week run on June 19, with an opening reception. In attendance was Vancouver-Quilchena Liberal MLA Andrew Wilkinson (BC Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services), Jazz Fest executive director Mike Forrester, Jazz Fest co-founder and media director John Orysik and Mayor Gregor Robertson.
