PODCAST: Author, artist and historian Michael Kluckner discusses his graphic novel

Toshiko relates dark chapter in B.C. history

Best known for his seminal book Vanishing Vancouver and his work on heritage and history, author and artist Michael Kluckner came full circle with the completion last year of his graphic novel Toshiko. A story of two young people affected by the treatment of Japanese-Canadians in B.C. during the Second World War, it's a return for Kluckner to the art he worked on in the 1970s and 1980s.
