Black History Month kicked off in city hall council chambers last Friday with a celebration that included music by Kia Kadiri and Perla Nicole Galvan. The event recognized the career of Justice Selwyn Romilly, who is retiring from the Supreme Court of B.C. after a distinguished career, and included the unveiling of new stamps by Canada Post.
