As if it wasnt enough to have the night sky over English Bay burst to life with the Honda Celebration of Light. On each night of the fireworks competition, theres SHOREFest free live music on two stages and a vendor village from five until the fireworks at 10. Since its blanket-room-only at English Bay and Sunset Beach for the fireworks, its wise to come early in the day with your picnic, sunscreen and dancing shoes. The July 27 headliners are Serena Ryder (pictured) and Grapes of Wrath; on July 31 its Fred Eaglesmith and Daniel Wesley while on August 3 the headliners are Deep Dark Woods and Mother Mother. But theres also Dawn Pemberton, Northcote, Buckman Coe, Good for Grapes, Red Bull Air Show, The Good Lovelies, The Boom Boom Booms, River and The Road, No Sinner, Greg Drummond, and Head of the Herd.
