The Vancouver Bike Show, Western Canada's largest biking event, rolls into town Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.

Greater Vancouver is swarming with avid cyclists across all disciplines: road cycling including bike commuting, mountain biking, touring and BMX. The annual Bike Show has something for everyone, whether you're after new gear, new cycling destinations, new races or just the hook-up with local bikers and community events.

The event goes down at Vancouver Convention Centre.

Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.

The Vancouver Bike Show has an exciting Kranked Kids Zone - an interactive mountain biking learning area where children three- to to 10-years-old learn and test new bike skills. The Vancouver Bike Show is free for 12 and younger.

The annual Bike Show is partners with the simultaneous Vancouver Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show at the same time at Vancouver Convention Centre. Your Bike Show ticket will get you in the door.

This is a great place for sporty adventures (interested in genres beyond cycling) to discover more about hiking, running, water, board or mountain sports. 200 exhibitors will inspire you with options for thrilling B.C. safaris, eco-holidays and camping trips.

Wine box art at The Beaumont

Multidisciplinary artist Arne Gutmann brings his imagination and the work of 30 artists from Whistler to San Diego to The Beaumont Studios (316 W. 5 at Alberta).

His newest brainchild T.A.B. The Wine Box is an experiment in repurposed media.

Providing 30 notable artists with wooden wine boxes, Gutmann let their imaginations run wild, providing them with only one clear guideline: "Explore YOUR issue."

Opening night is Thursday, Feb. 28, from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The collection will show at The Beaumont until March 14, weekdays noon to 6 p.m.
