Facing fear is a big part of our life… I was climbing with my friends in Chilliwack and we were hiking there for five hours. We were getting up at one in the morning. We were climbing for 12 hours straight and then we had to find a way back and we couldn’t because it was getting dark again and we couldn’t find our way down. At one point I was getting so tired. I said, ‘Oh, we have to spend the night here and look for a way tomorrow.’ It was not really like an emergency… but it’s a problem. You have to find your way out or find a solution for it. It can be transferred to everyday life.
