Nominations for the 2014 Leo Awards were announced on Thursday afternoon via the organization’s website

Ben Ratner’s Down River — inspired by the death of legendary Vancouver film & stage actress Babz Chula — leads the motion picture category with 13 nominations; the locally shot time travel procedural Continuum is the lead television contender with 21 nominations. In total, 102 awards recognizing excellence in British Columbia film and television will be handed out over three nights at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver beginning May 30.

Agam Darshi (nominated for Supporting Performance – Female for Played)

Mackenzie Gray (nominated for Guest Performance – Male for Bitten, Best Performance in a Youth or Children's Program or series for Spooksville, and 8 nominations for his Under The Bridge of Fear)

Package Deal (2 nominations, including Jill Morrison)
