Nominations for the 2014 Leo Awards were announced on Thursday afternoon via the organization’s website.
Ben Ratner’s Down River — inspired by the death of legendary Vancouver film & stage actress Babz Chula — leads the motion picture category with 13 nominations; the locally shot time travel procedural Continuum is the lead television contender with 21 nominations. View the full nomination list here.
In total, 102 awards recognizing excellence in British Columbia film and television will be handed out over three nights at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver beginning May 30.
