Ballet BC has launched a partnership with Park Royal retailer Simons to offer discounted tickets to the company's 2016 dance performances. Called the Simons Community Balcony, arts lovers can now purchase up to two balcony tickets per performance for just $15 each – a discount of 50 per cent off regular starting ticket prices.
The program will cover all three upcoming Ballet BC programs, including this week's hotly anticipated Program 2, and more than 400 tickets will be available through the offer for each performance. Vouchers containing the unique Ticketmaster promotional codes are available for pick up at the customer service desk in Simons' West Vancouver location (1060 Park Royal South) during regular store hours. You must sign up for the Simons loyalty program or already be a member to qualify.
In announcing the partnership, Simons also released a lookbook featuring Ballet BC dancers Gilbert Small, Peter Smida, Kristen Wicklund and Tara Williamson in select fashions from Simons' spring collections.
Founded in Quebec in 1840, the family-owned retailer now has 11 stores throughout Canada, and a long history of collaboration with the arts in each respective city. Simons' flagship West Coast location, for example, launched with installations by sculptors Douglas Coupland and Bobbie Burgers, and Coast Salish artist Jody Broomfield.
