Bollywood Wedding an elaborate and hilarious, outdoor, interactive dance and theatre event is back July 18-21 and 24-28. Two young Indians are brought together in an arranged marriage. Indian weddings are colourful and extravagant with fabulous clothing, an occasional melt down, some serious drama and dancing.
Held outdoors in the beautiful Italian Gardens at Hastings Park, the proceedings will begin in the light of the early evening and end with the beautiful setting of the sun, alongside the breathtaking snow-capped mountains of Vancouver. The audience moves from one location to another, taking in various scenes of the play, including the engagement, mehndi, maiyan, milni and of course the wedding itself. The evening will end with a big, interactive dance party at the wedding reception.
