Bubble Trouble

This Halloween, 2018 VIVA Award-winning artists Hannah Jickling and Helen Reed will launch the new public artwork QA CHEW’S BUBBLE TROUBLE, a limited-edition gum and the latest sweet in the their ongoing Big Rock Candy Mountain residency. The fruity and “surprisingly earthy” flavours of the gum were developed with local students at Queen Alexandra elementary school. The gum will be distributed for free on Halloween across Vancouver’s busiest trick-or-treating neighbourhoods. The launch coincides with the opening of a group show at Western Front, Mouthfeel (Nov. 1 to Dec. 15), featuring Jickling and Reed as well as works by Dina Danish, Diane Borsato and more.
