WhooooooOOOOOOOO LIKES ZOMBIES?
The answer, of course, is “everyone,” which means everyone will be super-interested in the new, wildly appealing and fully immersive theatrical adventure, On Death’s Door: Plague of the Zombie Syndrome.
It bears repeating: a FULLY IMMERSIVE theatrical adventure about the zombie apocalypse is taking place at a top secret Vancouver location between Oct. 7 – Nov. 2.
This is the third installment of the Virtual Stage-produced Zombie Syndrome series, which provides every one of us the opportunity to see how well we’ll fare in a real zombie apocalypse, by throwing members of the audience into a “smartphone-enabled quest to rid Vancouver streets of the undead.”
From the press release:
“[T]his new storyline calls on spectators to solve the mystery of the Zombie Syndrome virus, which is somehow being laced into the powerful street drug Death’s Door. Audience members are contacted with the mysterious rendezvous point only 24 hours in advance, and then must gather and work in teams, aided with nothing but their sharp minds and smartphones to solve the high-stakes drama.”
The Virtual Stage is a Vancouver theatre production company that utilizes emerging technologies to enhance the storytelling, and has produced Zombie Syndromeinstallments every October since 2012.
This is the best zombie-related news we’ve heard since Hershel lost his head, that bleeding dullard.
