The 27th annual TD Vancouver International Jazz Fest (June 22-July 1) just got a whole lot hotter.
Young trumpet virtuoso Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews (and occasional actor on HBO's Treme) returns, kicking off opening night with fellow New Orleans, the lengendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
Among the many names added to the lineup are a host of familiar faces from Vancouver: Geoff Berner, Jill Barber, rapper Kyprios, and the SSRIs.
