Sound of drums, jazz music and lovely voices filled the Robson Square May 1 as elementary and high school students gave a free public concert. This was part of the 13th annual Music Monday, an event celebrated across Canada to raise awareness for music education. Maestro Bramwell Tovey of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra conducted the performance of the event’s new anthem “Sing It Together.” The event was hosted by Juno award-winning children’s singer Charlotte Diamond and grade 12 Van Tech student Tom Davis.
