We are Vancouverites, and we know that we’re the best.
The rest of the country might resent our smugness (especially in December when it’s a balmy 8 C outside), but screw ‘em. We get to live here and they don’t.
We have the best of everything right at our doorstep. Whether it’s Mother Nature, outdoor adventures, gourmet food, amazing art or fantastic live music, it’s all here and it’s all awesome. It’s no wonder so many people from across the globe have chosen to call Vancouver home.
So what we want to know is, why are we the best? Who are the movers and shakers, the community leaders, the local artists and businesspeople who help make this city what it is?
The 19th Annual Best of the City Awards is your chance to help recognize the many amazing people who help make up the funky fabric of this fine city, and your responses will be compiled into the ultimate guide to life in Vancouver.
So who’s Vancouver’s best humanitarian? Where’s the best place to go for a hike? Or best art house theatre? Or live music venue?
