It’s a sensitive subject, both figuratively and literally, but Julia Muncs says the clitoris is nothing to shy away from.

Muncs is one of the nimble hands behind Clio, a three-foot clitoris who takes centre stage in the educational and interactive puppet show CLIO — A Giant Clitoris Puppet Learning to Love Herself, which starts Feb. 6 at the Art of Loving.

We visited Muncs and Clio in their West End apartment to get the lowdown on puppetry of the clitoris, the “cliteracy” movement and what Muncs hopes audiences come away with after attending one of their shows.
