A recent tasting, at the Marquis wine cellars on Davie, showed a beaming, self-possessed, ready-to-drink wine with yellow fruits, and white flower suggestions, complemented by a rather long vanilla cream finish. Its a blend of 47 per cent Chardonnay, 33 per cent Pinot Noir and 20 per cent Meunier assembled from the 2007 crop.

Marquis Wines will donate $1 from the sale of each bottle of Jacquesson Champagne ($64.95) to Karma Exchange to fund girls eduction through the Create Change Foundation.
