We now live in world where people are obsessed with keeping a pictorial record of their life. Instead of going to your favorite magazine or website for celebrity gossip, they practically hand it to you with live posts through their instagram and twitter account. The holiday season is all about indulging in family time, great food and some celebrity gossip.
Celebrities this year were not modest when it comes to sharing with their followers on social media exactly what their holiday season looked like. Beyonce who recently made headlines everywhere with the release of her secret album shared with us a holiday card. Ivanka Trump was busy teaching her daughter the meaning of donating after the recent birth of her second child. Lauren Conrad (star of The Hills circa 2006 and author) instagramed an adorable Christmas photo of her two dogs while local host of The Rush, Fiona Forbes stayed cozy with her pooch Chewy educating him about the magic of Christmas. Even the newest 5-year-old style sensation Alonso Mateo was busy with travel plans.

Perhaps the instagram that created the most buzz was Kim Kardashian’s (no surprise there) when she released a photo of a custom made one of a kind Hermes Birkin Bag by George Condo, which cost $40,000 according to New York Magazine. While the bag may have cost Kanye West a pretty penny, it’s far from pretty but who are we to judge. You should quite simply see for yourself.
As for the most played and tear jerking commercial goes Apple takes the cake on this one. It starts off with a boy turning on the TV to what seems like a commercial at first glance. However, the family soon realizes it’s video clips (with sentimental music to go along with it of course) of family moments taken with an iphone of their holiday season. After all, cards are over rated right Apple?
Happy holidays everyone!
