Re: "Media, NPA feast on empty riot reports," Sept. 8.
Will NPA Coun. Suzanne Anton ever nail another plank in her platform besides "Blame Gregor for the riot?" Anton deserves a new title, and it's not mayor: How about Queen of the Armchair Quarterbacks? Where were her words of wisdom prior to June 15? If I recall correctly, she was as positive about the final game as any other councillor. We all hoped that there would be no trouble but knew that it was likely to happen. But who among us predicted the magnitude of the problem? It is time to quit pointing fingers and start working on a realistic plan. We have only nine months before the Canucks are in the final again.
