The fact that city council did not inform the taxpaying citizens of Vancouver that city property is being used by property owners on Point Grey Road is appalling and a dereliction of duty. Kudos to Rick Angus for pointing this out in his letter. There is another point that has been made in recent issues of the Courier. The lack of adequate transit - in all sectors of the Lower Mainland. For the mayor and council to decide that a subway is the only answer to "speed" up traffic on Broadway begs the question of the needs of other municipalities in the region.
