Re: “Rebel community centres mount fresh legal attack on park board,” Oct 3.
This dispute has gone long enough. The community associations should back off and let the elected park board run the Vancouver community centres. There should be uniform basic services and programs commonly offered in all Vancouver community centres.
The community associations should do volunteer work and give/solicit donations for extra services and programs in their neighbourhood.
They should not make the community centre in their neighbourhood their own backyard spa or pool.
It is, after all, a community centre.
