Re: “Dogs seek safe landing in Vancouver,” Oct. 3.
Although the Thanks Dog I Am Out/Wings of Rescue programme are a commendable service, it’s unfortunate this article appeared in the Friday, Oct. 3,Courier, delivered to me less than 24 hours before Saturday, Oct. 4, the pick-up time for anyone interested in rescuing a small dog.
It left no chance at all for anyone reading it to complete the application process in order to become an approved new owner, a step required to be completed by every new owner before attending on the 4th.
