To the editor:
I was shocked to read your article that the Dude Chilling Park Sign will be installed in the Brewery Creek Community Garden without so much as a survey or notification that there was going to be a park board meeting about this sign’s relocation to the immediate neighbours of Guelph Park on how they felt about having this fake park sign put up in the community garden. I was one of the people who originally got the park board to install the Guelph Park sign last year. Commissioner Sarah Blyth was one of the organizers to start the Brewing Creek Community Garden so I would say there is a conflict of interest in her having the unauthorized fake park board sign installed anywhere in Guelph Park. The sign should of been destroyed once it was removed instead of condoning it. As to why it did not take to the twitterverse to spread the good news that a new home had been found for the sign at Sarah Blyth’s urging was because it was done behind the neighbours backs.
