To the editor:
Re: “Neighbours rage at Ramada open house,” Dec. 13.
I was at the open house Thursday night. I spoke with the new operator, representatives of the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre, City of Vancouver, and other community members.
I’m confident that they heard concerns from neighbours and businesses, and will work to make this housing successful for the 40 individuals who have the opportunity for stability, and for the rest of us who live in the area.
I for one am a neighbour who is committed to making this work, and using it as a chance for our community to get to know one another better.
