Re: "Student Moms," June 22.
After reading your Friday cover story on student mothers, I couldn't help but wonder if "Self-Esteem & Safe Sex 101" might be offered as part of the programs in high school as well because why a young woman with her entire future ahead of her lets a man convince her it was a good idea to have really unsafe sex (without going into the details, everyone knows how babies are made) is beyond me.
It is 2012 last I checked. Get with it, girls. Say no. If a man wants it that bad, he will wear protection. Make him or don't let him. Simple as that.
