Re: “A soldier’s struggle,” Nov. 8 online story.
Your article on Mike Pehlivanian provides good insight into what trauma does to people and just how it affects their lives.
A person that has never experienced trauma doesn’t really understand the affects it has on a person’s life. I do hope that Mr. Pehlivanian can find the peace of mind he needs and that he gets the help and support for the coping skills in his illness.
Please pass my support to him and the soldiers in the care facility. Just because an injury can’t be seen doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
