Park Board tactics towards community centre associations, who have done an excellent job of managing their centres, have been questionable, to say the least.
As a member who has participated in many of the programs, and a volunteer in the kitchen at Kerrisdale, I fear that if the Park Board is successful in controlling funding, memberships, programs, and implementing their OneCard system, it would be disastrous for our centre and the community as well.
Our current system is great and should be left alone!
