Before Christian Louboutin (the man known for his red soled shoes) was Manolo Blahnik. His classic craftsmanship paired with innovative designs pushed the envelope and has made him a legend in the shoe industry. Best known for the shoemaker who styled Sarah Jessica Parker during her reign on Sex and The City, we’ve seen everything from ruffle stilettos to a classic jeweled embellish heel.
Blahnik arrived in New York City for the first time during Fashion Week to showcase his Fall 2014 collection that’s worthy of a placement in a museum. Two short cinematic films directed by Michael Roberts accompanied his presentation. One filmed focused on the making of Blahnik’s shoes while the other told the story of a well-heeled 19th century woman.

The shoes presented did the talking with bright colors, textured materials and scalloped edges to catch the eye. Blahnik’s collection allows for the pop of color for fall. Pair it with staples in your closet to make a bold statement.
From bowed booties to polka dot pumps, fall looking a lot more playful.
