There are 119 candidates running in the Nov. 15 civic election and we got the names wrong for three of them.
Our Oct. 30 story "Strathcona residents push for equity" incorrectly spelled the name of NPA park board candidate Erin Shum. It's been corrected.
The same article also incorrectly spelled COPE park board candidate Imtiaz Popat's name. It's been corrected.
Finally, the opinion cartoon for Oct. 29 incorrectly spelled Green Party council candidate and incumbent Adriane Carr's name. It has been corrected.
Our Nov. 5 Voter's Guide erroneously reported that independent mayoral candidate Mike Hansen grew up in Alberta. According to a voice mail from Hansen left at the Courier, he was there until age 3 when he departed with his family and never looked back.
