To the editor:
MP Wai Young certainly knows community centres and I appreciate her intervention on a civic matter.
Unfortunately Ms. Young does not know the Coast Guard, Search and Rescue or the marine community. Her actions trying to defend an accountant's decision and sneaky implementation by slagging a Vancouver councillor don't wash. Sorry, but stepping into the real safety controversy when it is over just does not cut it. She is representing her party, not the community on this one.
