Popes cost too much money

To the editor: Re: "Pope cartoon offensive," Letters, Feb.22. When I saw the Pope cartoon I smiled. I agree with it 100 per cent. Did you know [the word] catholic means universal, for use for all, all-embracing and broad-minded.

When I saw the Pope cartoon I smiled. I agree with it 100 per cent.

Did you know [the word] catholic means universal, for use for all, all-embracing and broad-minded. All bishops and pastors are great men. Even the Orthodox knew that we need no pope. All Christians should be called Orthodox-Catholics but use Lutheran doctrine. The churches have presidents. Popes cost too much money. Popes are not needed.
