The streets are alive with the sound of music

All true, and then there are the actual event organizers that have zero class and crank up music with speakers facing right towards my apartment at 8am on a Sunday morning like they did at the BMO marathon, and to make matters worse it was some kind of POP music.

I may have been able to take some classic rock but not what they played!

No love for liquor laws

Went to Greek Days with friends and decided to go to a fun pub on Broadway. Met some nice people and we were having a great time until we were told the liquor inspectors said that only six people were allowed on their deck. WTF! There were three tables, so you are telling us that if there were more than two at a table we weren't allowed to enjoy a few drinks and a great Greek day celebration?

Get with the times! And yet you could walk down Broadway with a beer in hand?

Witness statement

I witnessed an assault on Davie at Cardero last month. I stayed by the lady because she was shaken. When the police showed up, the constable asked what had happened and then ran my name. She was so rude to me. I've never had a criminal record. I'm afraid I am going to think twice now before helping anyone when the police need to be involved. I am a woman and was completely humiliated by the constable's treatment towards me.
