Re: "Sullivan promises to be 'assertive' MLA," May 17.
I am amazed that Sam Sullivan has just been elected as a Liberal MLA given his admission that he wasn't certain he was going in the right direction when he was Mayor of Vancouver.
These are hardly reassuring words because vision is an absolute prerequisite for being a successful politician. To be honest, I wouldn't want my hard earned tax money going to any politician - Liberal or NDP - that lacks conviction and is merely going through the motions.
