Suna launches fundraiser after B&E

Given what the made-up word “suna” spells backwards, it seems inevitable Suna Studios would eventually attract some a-holes.

Given what the made-up word “suna” spells backwards, it seems inevitable Suna Studios would eventually attract some a-holes.

The Commercial Drive area rehearsal space, which opened in February and is run by some friends of mine, was recently broken into by thieves who made off with around $7,000 worth of instruments and gear.

“Our jam space is covering the cost of the stolen equipment because you can’t get contents insurance for your jam space,” said co-owner and handlebar-mustache enthusiast Rob Stewart in the video below that is part of a fundraising campaign to help recoup the loss. “It’s the right thing to do but it sure is expensive.”

Please help out if you can and keep an eye out for any of the equipment listed in the photo. And hope that the police find the culprits before Drinkwater does.
